Emilio has a heart of gold. 20 years ago I worked at a grocery store and Emilio shopped there, he was always so friendly to all of who worked there. We had a cashier that was going to the Prom in a couple of days and she was sharing with him that her Prom dress was stolen out of her car, she was so sad and upset that day. She had been saving money for her dress for weeks and could not afford to buy another one. I just love him! Such a great actor from the beginning. I love seeing him making the rounds lately with interviews promoting his new movie. Also, what a heartwarming and important story!
First time I saw Emilio was in The Outsiders. He has so many movies that it is hard to pick. But I do lean towards as my favorite was The Way. It is a very heart moving story about how the love of a father shares his grief and in some ways not knowingly. Emilio is a wonderful actor and now stepping up the game to the director. He is so diverse with his talent. I will be looking forward to watching The Public.
For the longest of time I thought Emilio was the younger brother of Charlie, only to find out some 7 years ago that is was the other way around. Emilio was born in '62 - Charlie was born in '65.
He has been in movies. But he has done lower promoted artsy types. Not really blockbuster promoted films. And he has done them few and in between. But I agree, I’d like to see him do more mainstream stuff.
Emilio is one of the coolest, nicest, most down to Earth people you could ever meet. He doesn’t belong in the Hollywood crowd and does his best to stay away from them, to his credit. When I worked at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Malibu, he would come in and hang out to chat with us. He had some funny stories about some of the Malibu/Hollywood movie industry scumbags.
@@maryannjabson5638 He is. He's just a normal guy, unlike most of the idiots in Hollywood that think they're better than the average person just because they can memorize lines and pretend to be someone else.
What a perfect person to do this interview. I am a huge Emilio estevez fan but was more captivated by her doing such a good job balancing her fan gushing with just being genuine and keeping the conversation going and interesting.
Yep, that's the real definition of a "trailblazer". His pops Martin knew that things would change, I'm glad he told Emilio to rock his name with pride. He may have pushed back on the idea but in the end it was his decision. His "Billy the Kid" is still one of my all time favorite characters in cinema. Their whole family is talented. I hope Charlie is keeping his shit together too, he's another one of my favorites.
One movie I liked he did in the 90's with his dad called "the war at at home". He played a severe PTSD Vietnam vet who came home after the war. Also one of his first movies called " the incident " was really good. Both of these movies were intense.
His father Martin and his brother sold out and became big stars, Emilio did not sell out but didn't make it as big as his dad and bro. Most people would have sold out for fame and fortune, cool to see Emilio stayed true to his roots.
Emilio was huge back in the day. He quit movies for a while though. I think because he was wanting to direct. All those movies he mentioned were huge. Especially Young Guns and The Breakfast Club. The Mighty Ducks were too.
Big Country yes spot on quality film, but young guns was masterpiece he nailed billy the kid, such a shame they screwed him over in Hollywood,he’s amazing actor deserved more work and top films
When I was a teen, I had such a big crush on him at one time. Teenage hormones 😂 But even thirty five years ago Emelio seemed the most authentic of that brat pack, quieter not as showy. In the imagination of a teenage girl on the other side of the planet, who's walls were adorned with movie posters from the 80's, he stood out for all the right reasons....his charachter. I didn't know shit back then, I certainly knew nothing about him beyond his screen roles, but watching him now, he still has that same authenticity and it still makes him an attractive man. I don't have crushes anymore, I'm nearly fifty, those days have passed with youth, but it's nice to see his face again, and even nicer to see he still has that humility and authenticity about him. Maybe I knew more than I thought, his energy although tempered with age, still feels the same, and I imagine him to be a person you could sit with and have a really good long conversation about the good shit, the stuff that matters. 😊
An underrated talent who can act, write, and direct and was the youngest person in Hollywood history to do all three in a movie. Emilio was one of the coolest young actors of the 80's and 90's who has tried hard to shed the Brat Pack image that made him a star. His talent as a director and screen writer is underappreciated. His presence is missed on the screen today and I'd love to see him in some new roles. My mom was a huge Martin Sheen fan and loved Emilio too.

She's so fake it's so cringey. You know, that one chick with the "super positive attitude" but that same chick you would only want to have sex with, and not a relationship.
Thank you. from a fellow Galician Spaniard... thank you for staying true to your heritage.
What a grateful, polite and down to earth guy. I think Emilio's the kind of guy you could have a conversation with just a normal person.
Agree 😁😁😁
He's a timeless icon, hard not to love the guy
“Emiliooooooooo estevez. The mighty duck man I swear to god! I was like EMILIOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
You almost made me s*** in my pants
Me too. Very funny
...
Of course you were the one who yelled the breakfast clubbers name.. lmao
I was just thinking that 😂
Good one
Emilio Estevez is a good hearted, smart guy, very genuine, We love you.
Such an underrated actor. My fav Emilio movie was always “Wisdom”.
I love that movie.
That is a awesome movie.
Wish they play that more offen.
No way man young guns was the best.
I loved Wisdom !!
My faves are Wisdom, Repo Man, and the not so popular That Was Then, This Is Now.
Don't forget The Outsiders, Two-Bit! ^_^
" Who you calling bums, pal," ......

Great movie
I met him last year at the restaurant I worked at! Talk about being an actor, when a co-worker asked how we knew each other (because I recognized him but didn’t blow up his spot) he goes, “Oh we went to school together.” I just said yeah, college LoL. Great guy. 😂
Now that's classy!
Ok, so he really is humble. He wasn't mad your coworker didn't recognize him.
I absolutely think that Emilio Estevez is So Down to Earth & Humble. He always will be to me
He’s always gonna be “The Breakfast Club” to me along with the rest of the cast.
He always going to be two bit from the outsiders and Gordon Bombay for me
Two hits. Me hitting you and you hitting the floor.
They forgot to mention my favorite movie that he was in, "The Outsiders".
He's so greasy he glides when he walks. He goes to the barber shop for an oil change, not a haircut.
@@lossratioband Lol. I need to watch it. Hilarious. I always saw bits and pieces
@@lossratioband “Check out their pants! 😂😂😂”
My favorite was wisdom
He sure looks like his father especially as he's getting older!
ruclips.net/video/c99N2SrvLqc/видео.html. A movie where they played the same character
He doesn’t look older at all.
I freakin love Emilio Estévez. He seems like such a humble person.
It's true. I have nothing but good things to say about him.
I swear this guys drinks the same water as Rob Lowe..... They never age.
Richard H 1569 plastic surgery
He's a vampire
Rob lowe admits to the work he's had done.
Drink water. Keep the skin and body hydrated.
He looks like he aged alot to me
I wonder why we don't see him in things anymore, he has aged amazing.
He's coming back to Disney! Mighty Ducks, baby!!!
@@marlonrando9272 REALLY!? YESSSS
@@marissafitz9254 yes.
@@marlonrando9272 that’s awesome!
He has been directing.
Always remember him as Andrew The Athelete from The Breakfast Club.
Damn how did I forget that? A classic role.
Sporto
The Wrestler. Do not shame him by calling him an athlete lol.
Two-Bit
@@stoicape4370 you obviously haven't watch that movie huh. The characters can be describe as:
Brian- The Brain 🤓
Andrew- The Athelete💪
Allison- The Basket Case☻
Claire- The Princess👸
John- The Criminal😠
I love the Estevez family they are such down to earth and humble people, family. And that’s one thing with Martin he never lost it or got his head big in Hollywood. God bless them all , Love you Charlie
I just love him! Such a great actor from the beginning. I love seeing him making the rounds lately with interviews promoting his new movie. Also, what a heartwarming and important story!
He seems like such a genuinely nice person.
I always had a crush on him and admired the fact he kept his given last name.
Emilio Sheen doesn’t sound quite as good as Emilio Estevez.
He would have changed his name like his brother did. Charlie Sheen is a stage name, he's actually Carlos Estevez
@@desirai8436 True.
But Sheen still doesn't sound as good as Estevez (no matter which syllable you put emphasis on).
Well maybe because we are used to it...THE BEATLES sound normal now but I bet it didnt at first....
He probably would’ve been called Emile Sheen 😂
Y eso, también.
The man is a legend plain and simple, always humble and classy.gotta love emilio..
" *You just shot that man in the back, Billy!* "
"His back was to me."
😎
my favorite line, "I'll make ya famous!" !!!
Doc to Billy. You are not a God. Pull the trigger and find out. Love that movie.
Emilio “The Good Son” Estevez. Good to hear his voice again. Great interview!✌️
“Emiloooooooo!! The mighty duck man I swear to god”

Chach 😄 A night at the Roxbury 🙌🏻
Chach first thing I thought too
Shiii more like young guns
That's the one I came looking for 😂
Haha I was going to make that a comment as well 😂😂😂
Muy bien Emilio. Un gran orgullo desde South Bronx 2023!!!!
We seems so down to earth compared to Charlie. You could tell he never let the fame get to him. Really relatable guy.
I dont know how old he is now, but he’s still killing it
bashlea he born 1962 Charlie 1965
Hard to believe he's 57
Ur killing it too gurl 😂😂😉
Bravo por ti Emilio. As an Spaniard in NYC I am a big fan of the Stevez Sheen family. All best.
He hasn't aged. Not like his brother. We need you back in the movies!!
Agreed
For the longest of time I thought Emilio was the younger brother of Charlie, only to find out some 7 years ago that is was the other way around. Emilio was born in '62 - Charlie was born in '65.
He's going to be in the Mighty Ducks series on Disney Plus.
His brother did/does hard drugs and alcohol.
He has been in movies. But he has done lower promoted artsy types. Not really blockbuster promoted films. And he has done them few and in between. But I agree, I’d like to see him do more mainstream stuff.
Emilioooooooo! Wish he would come out in more movies but I really respect the fact he’s out there doing his own projects
Men at work class movie 😂
Repo man was good one
Love that movie.
"Golf clap?" "Golf clap." *claps*
I thought I was the only one who wanted to handcuff people like that until I saw Keith David do it lol
It's free on RUclips
Emilio is one of the coolest, nicest, most down to Earth people you could ever meet. He doesn’t belong in the Hollywood crowd and does his best to stay away from them, to his credit. When I worked at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Malibu, he would come in and hang out to chat with us. He had some funny stories about some of the Malibu/Hollywood movie industry scumbags.
I can imagine how humble & jovial he is despite his celeb status 😁
@@maryannjabson5638 He is. He's just a normal guy, unlike most of the idiots in Hollywood that think they're better than the average person just because they can memorize lines and pretend to be someone else.
I can probably say "The Breakfast Club" is one of my all time favorite movies...Always liked Emilio, but that went up so much after this interview.
Emilio is a vastly underrated actor. He deserves much more work than he gets. He's a brilliant talent.
I think he is the best actor of that family
I had the honor to meet his father once. He is a very humble kind man.
It’s always nice to see a famous person, at least in interviews, be humble, unpretentious, and not full of themselves.
I find it extremely interesting how he speaks about “ when the power grid goes down “
Yeah.. I mean, that was his first response..

Bombay is how it's pronounced.
🤣
You don’t wanna see the flying “V”
He was a lot of things before mighty ducks, catch up youngster
I see what you did there. Ha.
Lmao
What a perfect person to do this interview. I am a huge Emilio estevez fan but was more captivated by her doing such a good job balancing her fan gushing with just being genuine and keeping the conversation going and interesting.
One of the things I've always loved about this gentleman,is his lovely laughter, dude's got the most wonderful laugh around!! 😁 Legendary.
He comes across as humble and thoughtful. He is A-okay in my book. I am glad he kept his name, so many people do not and so I admire him for it.
Ok, to me Charli Looks like Martin. Emilio looks like Martin. But Charlie and Emilio don't look like one another. Or is it just me?
cindy mock they sound alike. Emilio just has lighter hair colour.
I've always thought the same too 😄😄
each shares different features w/ Martin, i suppose, yea ...
It's not just you. Charlie's the darker haired version of Martin. My sisters and I don't look like each other, either. XD
Very similar voice though
I never knew he was so nice and also thorough in interviews!
Where has Emilio been. I love this guy. He's so cool. We need good actors like him. 😎👍 The Public is a must see...
His father Martin and his brother sold out and became big stars, Emilio did not sell out but didn't make it as big as his dad and bro. Most people would have sold out for fame and fortune, cool to see Emilio stayed true to his roots.
Sold out?.. tell me,,what do you mean they sold out ?
payed for the ticket. The ride of fame. The price their souls
@@Famane15 Nah martin is just better. You really believe that people say "Huh, he's damn good at acting but his last name is shit fuck that guy" lol.
Ron P no he’s mostly German
Emilio was huge back in the day. He quit movies for a while though. I think because he was wanting to direct. All those movies he mentioned were huge. Especially Young Guns and The Breakfast Club. The Mighty Ducks were too.
"The Way" is in my top 3 movies ever - watched it probably 20 times and can watch it another 20.
Excellent movie! One of my favorites as well.
Judgement night is a pretty good movie too
"HOUSEKEEPING "
Great flick, love it. Leary as a bad guy was surprising n ruthless.
Judgement Night is a terrific thriller, atmospheric, tense, suspenseful and fun. It also features one of Alan Silvestri's best scores.
Big Country yes spot on quality film, but young guns was masterpiece he nailed billy the kid, such a shame they screwed him over in Hollywood,he’s amazing actor deserved more work and top films
Fkn right it is! Lol. Underrated
Old school celebs were/are all talented individuals. They had to be. It was much harder to become famous before the internet. Being famous actually meant something. Now... not so much. Any fool with a phone can get lucky and get a million followers.
Emilio Estevez is a very, VERY humble down to earth human being
Hands down, Emilio has the best laugh in cinema history. It’s infectious😂
He's been in so many great movies. How steakout wasn't mentioned idk but he will always be Gordon Bombay to me. Quack Quack Quack
Matthew Peter 👏🏼
"I'll make you famous." - Wlliam H. Bonney AKA Billy The Kid :-) Emilio will ALWAYS be Billy The Kid!
she looks like she is about to cry tears of pride :) much respect
The War at Home is so underrated. He and his dad played off one another amazingly.
I miss seeing emilio in movies....he was such a great actor and stared in some of the best movies of the 80s....wish you would come back and star in some modern movies.
Proud of this guy he kept it real with his last name And went into the movie business on his own terms
